We are psychic. Eric and I yesterday were talking about vacines and how a lot of people have shown to have vaccine damage. Then we were talking about how maybe people have a fear of needles because they've had vaccine damage. And then I said maybe Meredith is scared of needles because of that (i remember you saying you would ask for the butterfly needle i think?) So basically completely randomly we were talking about vaccines, needle and you the same day you wrote about having them done..... freaky!

On another note about vaccinations. There is a theory that children with autism were given vaccinations when they were born that contained high levels of mercury. These high levels of mercury are what researchers think are causing autism...

BB - I'm going to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.

Too Tall Paul - Vaccine damage - do you mean from the needle or from the actual vaccine? Also, I'm not sure if you can get a butterfly needle for shots (I was too embarassed to ask), but I always ask for them when I get blood taken, good memory!

Lil Bone Joan - Theory is interesting but that's not the only way kids could possibly get autism as they are still being born today? Did you mean that's just one possible way/theory but there are still others?

The mercury theory is just one possible theory...thought I would throw it out there while you guys were on the subject. I'm not sure where I stand on the mercury theory as I haven't read much of the research (I try to read both POV's when it comes to this stuff).

P.S. I forgot about the nicknames and it took me a while to realize who you were talking to...

Thanks!

Shaun - NHS should have covered 1 shot I believe and subsidized the other, I'd still have had to pay for malaria pills and the rabies one is optional. My doctor's office's travel vaccination nurse quit so I would have had to have switched offices entirely to get the cheaper shots (pain in the ass and I didn't have much time left for getting vaccines) or go to a private clinic which is what I did. I'm still bitter.
