I haven't seen Lost in about a year because I didn't want to skip ahead without knowing what's happened. I've given in and just started watching tonight's episode.
They have a ping pong table??????? Exsqueeze me??? There'd better be a good explanation for this or I'll be left speechless for the next 194 days at the ridiculousness of this silly program.
Ooh, Karl from Love Actually just showed up, maybe I'll keep watching!

The professor and Gilligan built the ping pong table our of coconuts and palm fronds.
Oh man. A lot has gone on. See there was this 'hatch' [part of the Dharma Project], where this guy had been living because he had to press a button to prevent 'the world from ending'.
The survivors found him and used it for a while. [The ping pong table, among other things like a washing machine, etc. were in there too].
One time they didn't push the button, and the hatch imploded/exploded and spread debris all over.
They are getting supplies delivered from the Dharma project.
